Because he is one of RTEs ”stars”. RTE is a nepotistic institution that badly needs to be cut adrift, the fact that force the the public to pay for that mind numbing trash is absolutely sickening. A public service it most certainly is not. Not paying the RTE tax is a legitimate form of protest.
Marian Finucane earns a €295,000 salary per year for working a TOTAL of FOUR HOURS PER WEEK in RTE.

Ryan Tubridy earns a whopping €495,000 a year under a three year contract with RTE which he signed in 2012.
It beggars belief the manoeuvrings and brass neck of the untouchables.

In my quest to not pay the tv licence. I just got a notice of declaration whereby you state you declined payment. Still not paying.
