Guns, painting and antiques among items seized in 30 raids this morning

The raids were carried out in Kildare, Dublin, Cork and Louth.

GARDAÍ SEIZED TWO guns, computers, cash, antique furniture, paintings and documentation after carrying out 30 searches this morning.

The raids at both business premises and private dwellings took place in Kildare, Dublin, Cork and Louth.

Gardaí said this investigation has been ongoing for some time and this phase of the operation is to gather evidence in relation to suspected criminal activity.

All the items seized will be subject to a full technical examination.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
