Woman killed by train in Wicklow

The woman was struck at Kilcoole, between Greystones and Wicklow.

IARNRÓD ÉIREANN HAS suspended services between Greystones and Wicklow after a woman was killed on the track at Kilcoole.

A spokesperson for the company has confirmed to TheJournal.ie that a woman has died after being struck by a train on the line within the last hour.

No other details are available at the moment, but it is expected that the line will be closed for at least the next hour.
