Man dead and another seriously injured after early morning stabbing in Shankill

The two men in their late 20s were found with serious stab injuries on the road at Rathsallagh Park at around 5.30am.

ONE MAN IS dead and another is seriously injured after a stabbing incident in Shankill in south Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The two men in their late 20s were found with serious stab injuries on the road at Rathsallagh Park at around 5.30am.

They were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where one of them was pronounced dead shortly after 8am this morning.

The second man remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Gardaí say that the scene has been preserved for a technical examination and have appealed for witnesses who may have been in or around the Rathsallagh Park area to contact them.
