AN AMERICAN AIRLINES flight travelling from Chicago to London has made an emergency landing at Shannon Airport.

Flight AA98 was en route to London Heathrow when it landed at Shannon Airport shortly after 1pm this afternoon after reports of a smell of smoke in the cabin.
