A shark gets stuck on a beach... and something heartwarming happens

This is a nice tale – seriously.

THIS MIGHT BE the first heart-warming tale involving a great white shark that you’ve read in a long while.

When a juvenile shark journeyed onto a Cape Cod beach to try to catch seagulls, he was too slow in getting back to sea.

He was soon beached, and clearly unhappy to be stuck on the sand.

Although a spate of shark attacks has had Americans worried in recent weeks, the crowd kept him watered until he could be safely tagged and towed back into the water.

At one point, it looked as though the shark had died. But when he raised his head, the cheers from the crowd showed that, at least for that moment, sharks and humans were on the same page.

Good work, folks.
