Two arrested over shooting at Dublin apartment block

A man’s car was rammed and he had several shots fired at him, in an attack on 1 November last.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested by Gardaí investigating the attempted shooting of a man in the car park of an apartment complex in Dublin in November.

The incident happened at Islandbridge Court Apartments/Bellevue Apartments car park on the evening of Saturday 1 November.

A red Honda Civic car rammed another car at the location.

Two men who were in the Honda then ran after the driver of the other vehicle, firing a number of shots.

The man, however, was uninjured and escaped into the Bellevue Apartments.

Two men were detained in connection with the case in the Dublin area this morning, according to Gardaí.

They’re being held at Irishtown and Kilmainham Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
