Three men arrested for shooting in Kildare two years ago

The victim received serious head injuries while he sat in his car in Kilcock on 6 December 2011.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested in connection with the shooting of man in Kilcock, Co Kildare on 6 December 2011.

The victim received serious head injuries while he sat in his car in the Brayton Wood area of Kilcock at around 11.45am.

A dark coloured car was later found burnt out at Courtown Wood, Kilcock around 1km from the scene.

Gardai in Leixlip, Co. Kildare investigating the shooting, arrested the three men yesterday in Dublin city and west Dublin.

One of the men is in his late teens and the other two are in their thirties.

They are being detained in Leixlip, Kildare and Newbridge Garda stations.
