Shots fired at young couple walking home in Dublin

Nobody was injured in the incident.

GARDAÍ IN RAHENY are investigating after shots were fired at a young couple.

The incident occurred at about 10.30pm last night when three shots were discharged at the two, who were walking on St Berach’s Place, Kilbarrack at the junction of Swans Nest Avenue.

Nobody was injured during the incident, though damage was caused to a house nearby where residents were at home.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on the incident or who might have seen any activity in the area between 10.15pm and 10.45pm last night to contact Raheny Garda Station at 01-6664300, the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
