Bus lanes during a bus strike - how should they be used?

Poll: Should bus lanes be open to all vehicles during a bus strike?

What do you think?

TODAY, AROUND 400,000 commuters are finding alternative methods of transport in the first of six days of strike action announced by Dublin Bus drivers.

This has sparked a debate about how bus lanes should be used during a bus strike: some say drivers should be allowed to use the bus lanes to help ease the flow of traffic.

Others argue that this would create difficulties for other bus operators, taxis and emergency services who also use the lanes.

So we’re asking, Do you think bus lanes should be used by all vehicles during a bus strike?
