Silvio Berlusconi continues to hold 'bunga bunga' parties

A series of leaked wire taps have revealed that the Italian premier has reportedly moved the parties from one villa to another.

IT APPEARS EVEN being on trial for sex with an underage prostitute is not enough to discourage the Italian prime minister from engaging in his now infamous ‘bunga bunga’ parties.

The Telegraph reports that the revelations about Silvio Berlusconi have been made in a series of leaked wire taps of conversations between Italian businessman Flavio Briatore and friends and that the tapes have been passed on to prosecutors investigating the embattled PM.

The tapes record conversations between Briatore – himself under investigation for tax issues with one of his yachts – and friends in which it emerges that Berlusconi has switched the venue of the parties from a villa in Arcore near Milan to Villa Gernetto.

Photos of the new location are published on the Italian website Virgilio Notizie.

‘Bunga bunga’ refers to an after dinner sex game that takes place at the parties hosted by Berlusconi. Prosecutors released images from the parties in March.

Prosecutors also say that women were given money and jewellery by Berlusconi in return for sexual favours.

Among them was exotic belly dancer Karima El Mahroug, who was just 17 years old at the time, and is the woman at the centre of the current trial involving Berlusconi, one of several with another court case including charges against Berlusconi of bribery.
