The UK Independent is reporting that Ofcom is now investigating the incident, after receiving two complaints.

A spokesperson for the watchdog said: “Ofcom is investigating this programme, which included the most offensive language before the watershed.”

Shortly after King used the expletive, he said sorry and noted that one of his leads had fallen out.

I must apologise, I said a rude word.

Meyer laughed it off and the interview continued.
