Poll: Would you vote for the Social Democrats?

Ireland’s newest party is looking for your vote.

IRELAND’S NEWEST POLITICAL party wants to abolish water charges, repeal the 8th amendment and end zero-hour contracts.

Affordable housing, longer paid parental leave and reduced bankruptcy terms are among the other key priorities of the Social Democrats, which was launched yesterday by independent TDs Stephen Donnelly, Catherine Murphy and Róisín Shortall.

And Donnelly, who will share leadership of the party with his two colleagues until after the next general election, told TheJournal.ie yesterday that donations have already started coming in from new supporters.

We’re asking: Would you vote for the Social Democrats?

Poll Results:

Yes (7021)
No (3911)
Don't know (1747)
