Watch: This is what it looks like to be blasted into space on the side of a rocket

For a securely fastened camera that is.

FACE IT, EVEN if Richard Branson finally gets around to blasting us into space, you’re probably not going to be able to afford a ticket.

The best you can probably hope for is going to to see Gravity in 3D and feeling that your legs weren’t made for terra ferma after 90 minutes of Sandra Bullock floating around.

But this video might also go some way to fulfilling your childhood astronaut dreams (well mine anyway).

It’s of a European Space Agency Soyuz Fregat launching the Sentinel 1A earth monitoring satellite into orbit last Thursday.

They attached a camera to the side of the rocket which shot up from French Guiana along with the 2.3 tonne satellite. The results, as you can imagine, make you want to reconsider your career choices.
