Two teenagers arrested in connection with fatal stabbing of man in Dublin

The incident occurred yesterday in Crumlin.

TWO TEENAGERS HAVE been arrested in connection with the stabbing to death of a man in Crumlin in Dublin yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí said that an 18-year-old male and female were arrested last night in connection with the incident and are currently being held at Crumlin and Sundrive Road garda stations under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the Seagull House flat complex at Rutland Avenue in Crumlin.

Gardaí were called to the scene at about four o’clock.

A man in his 20s had received stab wounds and was taken to St James’ Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A post-mortem is due to take place on the body this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Sundrive Road garda station in Crumlin on 01-666 6600, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
