TWO MEN HAVE sustained injuries in a stabbing outside a Dublin bar tonight.

A source said the incident took place at a bar on Fade Street in the city centre. Two men aged in their mid 20s are understood to have been approached by a group of males in the street. One of the group verbally abused and then attacked them.

One of the men sustained a wound to his arm and the other suffered a chest injury.

The two groups were not known to one another and the incident is believed to have been a random attack.

Emergency services attended and the two men have been taken to St James’ Hospital.
