STORMONT CASTLE IN BELFAST has been evacuated following the discovery of suspicious object.

The Northern Ireland Executive is not sitting at the castle today.

The army disposal team has dealt with three letter bomb incidents in Northern Ireland in the past week including a viable device sent to PSNI Chief Constable Matt Baggot.

There are not further details of the nature of today’s alert.
