The sun made an appearance today - and Dubliners very nearly lost the run of themselves

Alright, it got to about 14 degrees. But still…

AFTER WEEKS OF gales, snow, sleet and rain, something peculiar happened in Ireland today.

The sun came out and it started to feel… warm.

Mild, even.

At first, some expressed concern than Ireland was feeling a bit unwell…

But others saw it as a definitive sign that spring has sprung

After months of hibernation, people were LOVING LIFE

Although some were loving it a little too much

Others – perhaps prematurely – began to reach for the sun cream…

And one person dared to utter the ‘s’ word (the other ‘s’ word)

More of this sort of thing please…

- Amy O’Connor and Daragh Brophy.
