Sunny weekend ahead with highs of 25 degrees early next week

The UK is set for a mini heatwave with temperatures reaching the low 30s.

TEMPERATURES ARE SET to reach up to 25 degrees here early next week as our neighbours in the UK get a mini heatwave.

Met Eireann is forecasting a bright weekend with sunny spells and temperatures hitting around 20 degrees.

However, things are set to really heat up early next week with highs of 23 degrees on Monday and 25 degrees on Tuesday.

Across the water – the Met Office is forecasting temperatures in the low 30s thanks to a rush of warm air from Spain and north Africa.

Don’t get too excited with all this sun talk though – scattered outbreaks of rain are forecast for this evening before clearing tonight.
