Bodies of child and two adults found inside burnt-out house in south England

The property was severely damaged when police arrived at the scene.

POLICE IN THE UK are investigating after a child and two adults were found dead in a burnt-out house.

The discovery was made yesterday morning in Trumpets Hill Road, Reigate in Surrey after locals contacted emergency services when they became concerned for the people in the property.

When police officers arrived they found a house that had suffered serious fire damage. Inside were the bodies of the three people.

Police have not released any further details on the identities of the three deceased people but have said that their next of kin have been informed.

Sky News reports that pictures from the scene show the walls of the home still standing but with a roof that has caved in.

A joint investigation has been launched involving Surrey Police and Surrey Fire and Rescue Service into the cause of the fire.
