Body of man found in Dublin field identified

Gardaí said they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

THE BODY OF a man found in a field outside Swords in north county Dublin has been identified today.

It is understood that the man has been named as Deniss Timosejevs, aged 22, originally from Latvia, who had been living in the Swords area.

Today the post-mortem was carried out on the man’s body, which was found by a farmer in Balheary just before 3pm yesterday.

Gardaí have said they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. It is not yet known whether foul play was involved.

Gardaí have called on anyone with any information to contact Swords Garda station on 01 666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
