Group robbed and threatened with syringe in St Stephen's Green

The robbery happened this evening and the man escaped with a sum of momey.

A MAN ALLEGEDLY carrying a syringe robbed a group of people in St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin this evening.

The robbery happened at about 5.50pm when the man approached two men and a woman and demanded money from them.

Victims told gardaí that the man threatened them with a syringe.

The man then fled the scene with a sum of money from the victims.

Gardaí and emergency services were at the scene soon after but nobody was physically injured in the incident.
