These students threw a surprise party for their teacher and he started crying

It was an emotional moment.

A TEACHER IN Texas let slip to his class that it’s been so long since he had a birthday cake that he can’t remember when it was.

Instead of just glossing over this fact, Kyle Simpler’s students decided to throw him a surprise birthday party, complete with balloons, streamers and of course a cake.

The cake even had a picture of a cat on the front, apparently all he talks about is his cat.

When Simpler walked into the class and they all started singing happy birthday and he was so overcome that he started crying.

Naturally, one of the students recorded the whole thing and it has since gone viral.

Speaking to local news channel WFAA, Simpler it was something that he will ‘never forget.

“This is very special, these are those moments that make teaching worthwhile. That’s all you gotta say.”
