The only surviving daughter of US President John F Kennedy, Caroline, and his grandchildren are in New Ross today for the JFK 50 celebrations.

WHEN JFK VISITED Ireland 50 years ago, men shook his hand while women fussed about him making him tea and giving him a feed of buns, tarts and cakes.

One of the famous images from his visit in 1963 was the tea-pouring scene,which his only living daughter, Caroline Kennedy, recreated today with the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny in New Ross, Co Wexford for the JFK 50 celebrations.
