Teenage son of Sinn Féin TD in serious condition after Dublin stabbing

The 18-year-old man was stabbed at a house in the Bluebell area of Dublin.

THE TEENAGE SON of Sinn Féin TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh is in a serious condition after being stabbed overnight in Dublin.

Gardaí at Kilmainham are investigating the stabbing incident which occurred at a house in the Bluebell area of Dublin.

The 18-year-old man is understood to be the son of Ó Snodaigh, a TD for Dublin South Central who is also the party’s social protection spokesperson.

At approximately 12.30am gardaí were called to an incident at a house on the Old Naas Road, Bluebell.

The teenager was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel for a stab wound.

He was taken by ambulance to St. James Hospital where his condition is understood to be serious.

The scene is preserved for a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
