Teen stabbed and robbed in Dublin's North Strand

The 18 year old was stabbed in the stomach and is now in serious condition in hospital.

A TEENAGER IS in serious condition in hospital after being mugged in the early hours of this morning in Dublin.

The 18 year old was walking home with a friend at around 4.30am on the North Strand Road when they were approached by two males.

He was robbed by the two assailants and stabbed in the stomach.

His friend flagged down a passing ambulance and he was taken to the Mater Hospital where gardaí said he is in serious condition. The other teen who was with him was uninjured.

No arrests have been made and gardaí at Bridewell Garda Station are investigating the incident.
