We took to the streets of the capital to see if anyone knows about that other vote happening on 22 May.

ON 22 MAY, the people will be asked to vote Yes or No in the same-sex marriage referendum.

But you may not be aware that there’s another referendum taking place that day on the proposition to reduce the minimum age at which a citizen can stand for president from 35 to 21.

When TheJournal.ie took to the streets of Dublin earlier this week, we asked people if they actually know about that ‘other’ referendum is about.
