The Twitter awards are coming to a town near you

Assuming you will be living near Dublin town sometime in October, of course.

THE TWITTERATI ARE to be pitted against each other later this year as Ireland gets its first ever Twitter awards – The Tweeties.

The announcement, made earlier today by Digital Times, introduced the categories that the great and the good will be in the running for.

And just who will get to determine the winners?

The categories, and the hashtags that you need to include to register your vote, are as follows:
