Theresa May didn't look too impressed with a student's Lego robot

The students were explaining the robots are used to prevent “turtles getting run over and falling down drains”.

UK PRIME MINISTER Theresa May’s reaction to a student’s robot has become a meme.

On the campaign trail yesterday, May went out and about with Copeland by-election candidate Trudy Harrison. The two visited Captain Shaw’s CE Primary School in Bootle, Cumbria, where students showed her examples of their work on Lego robots.

However, her grimace was caught on camera and became a meme across social media.

Sky News reports that the students were explaining the robots are used to prevent “turtles getting run over and falling down drains” and to get them back into the sea.

Labour is heavily tipped to hang on to the seat which was vacated by the resignation of their MP Jamie Reed, but May’s arrival signalled that the Conservative Party is targeting an upset.

The vote is one week from today.
