Three men seriously injured following Blanchardstown shooting

Three men, all in their 20s, are rushed to hospital following a shooting in a green area at Mulhuddart in north Dublin.

THREE YOUNG MEN have been rushed to hospital following a shooting in North Dublin this morning.

The three men, all of whom are aged in their 20s, were injured after a shooting in an open area at Corduff Park in Mulhuddart at 11:20am this morning.

The men were approached by two gunmen on foot, who fired a number of shots at the victims, who have been rushed to the Mater and Connolly hospitals.

One of the men was shot in the head, and is described as being in a critical condition. The other two men are described as being seriously injured.

Gardaí have sealed off the area pending technical and forensic examinations, and have issued a public appeal for witnesses.
