Toddler dies after being hit by van in Donegal driveway

The 22-month-old boy was from Letterkenny.

A 22-MONTH-OLD boy has died after he was struck by a van at his home in Donegal.

The toddler was hit by the van when it was driving into the driveway at his home at Creeveglebe, Letterkenny at about 6.45 pm yesterday evening.

The boy was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today.
