Toddler killed in freak accident in Cork

The young boy was airlifted to hospital – but was pronounced dead later this afternoon.

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy has died after an accident at a house in West Cork this afternoon.

It happened at around 1pm.

A Coast Guard helicopter was sent to the scene – and the young boy was airlifted to Cork University Hospital for treatment.

However, he was pronounced dead later this afternoon, gardaí confirmed.
