Book returned to Tralee Library 67 years late

The borrower avoided a €1,200 fine.

A BOOK HAS been returned to Tralee Library 67 years late.

Kerry Library has been running a fines amnesty and in a statement said: “It’s never too late to return a book to the library.”

Anyone who returns an overdue book this week won’t be fined.

The borrower who returned Ruby of a Thousand Dreams 67 years late avoided a €1,200 fine.
