TV3 is taking on the Late Late Toy Show again, but a week earlier

Toy pistols at ten paces…

AFTER 350,000 PEOPLE watched TV3′s attempt to break RTÉ’s monopoly on Christmas present showcases, the broadcaster is having another go.

However, the station has decided not to put their show on the same night as RTÉ’s Late Late Toy Show, instead opting to go a week earlier.

They say that The TV3 Christmas Toy Show, which will be broadcast live from the RDS at 8pm on 21 November will be hosted by “a well-known celebrity face”.

They are also looking for kids to demonstrate the toys on the day.

Demonstrators must be aged between 5 and 12 and details as to how they should apply to take part in the TV3 Christmas Toy Show will be announced in the coming days. There will also be an opportunity for viewers to apply to be part of the live audience.

Victoria Quinn of TV3 said that the 90-minute show will be “bigger and better” than last year.
