Twelve people arrested after evening incident at Connolly

Eleven men and one woman are arrested over a public order incident at the bustling Connolly Station during rush hour.

GARDAÍ FROM THE Store Street station on Dublin’s northside have this evening arrested 12 people in connection with a public order incident at Connolly railway station this evening.

The 12 – 11 men and one woman – were detained, with various potential missiles also seized from the parties.

All 12 were taken to the nearby Store Street station and will appear before a special sitting of Cloverhill District Court this evening at 9:30pm.

Gardaí declined to comment on whether the incident was related to the visit of Queen Elizabeth to the nearby National Convention Centre for a music and fashion show this evening.
