Two men arrested after man shot in both legs

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested after a man was shot in both legs in Tyrone yesterday evening.

At around 7pm, a 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with two gunshot wounds to his left foot and one gunshot wound to his right leg.

It happened at the Ballycolman Estate, Strabane.

Two men aged 20 and 29 were arrested this morning and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim Police Station.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Information can be given on the police non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
