Two bodies discovered in Limerick house

The bodies of a man and a woman with gunshot wounds have been discovered in a house in Limerick.

THE BODIES OF two people have been discovered at a house in O’Malley Park in Limerick.

The victims, both in their 20s, displayed evidence of gunshot wounds.

Gardaí were reportedly called to the scene at around midday and discovered the body of a woman in an upstairs bedroom. The body of the male victim was then found beside the back door of the house.

Forensic teams have been called to the scene and the state pathologist has been informed.

Gardaí have said that it is too early to determine a motive for the killings, but have launched a full investigation. They are appealing for witness who may have seen or heard something suspicious last night or this morning in the vicinity.
