Note: It starts to get pretty scary two minutes in.

WE ALL KNOW that firefighters around the world do heroic work, but nothing sets it out as clearly as this terrifying video, taken from a helmet camera.

Shot using a FireCam1080P, the footage allows you to see exactly what firefighters face every day.

The video shows two firefighters in New York trying to put out a stubborn blaze. They handle falling debris and other dangers to tackle the fire.

The clip was uploaded by the Vista Fire Department, which is based in West Chester in the state of New York. The YouTube channel was set up in 2011 to share insights into the incredible work of America’s frontline fightfighters.
