Irishman reported missing in France

Vincent Walsh flew to France 12 days ago to walk El Camino de Santiago.

A CORKMAN WHO flew to France to walk El Camino de Santiago has been reported missing.

Vincent Walsh’s family last heard from him on 19 July, 10 days ago. They know that he had landed safely in France and his last known whereabouts was Saint-Privat Allier, the starting point on the walk to Compostela.

His family say that he is an experienced hiker and would have been well able for walk.

The Department of Foreign Affairs say that they are aware of case and providing consular assistance.
