Volkswagen combed through 5,000 Instagram pics for this charity calendar

Each calendar will cost €10 and all proceeds go directly to Pieta House.

VOLKSWAGEN IRELAND HAS created a charity calendar from over 5,000 Instagram photos that were submitted as part of a competition run over the summer months.

Developed in collaboration with The Snapys, the Volkswagen Snapshot Instagram competition invited users of the photo app to submit photographs across four different categories: ‘Abstract’, ‘Roadtrip’, ‘Technology’, and ‘Volkswagen’.

Over 5,000 photos were submitted and the winning photo and 11 others were chosen to feature in the 2018 Volkswagen Snapshot Calendar. The images in the calendar range from a wedding in a vintage VW camper to scenes from the streets of Dublin, as well as an adventure in the mountains and a sunset in beautiful Kinsale.

You can have a look at all the competition entries by searching the #VWSnapshot hashtag on Instagram.

The calendars are on sale now and can be bought online from the 2018 VW Snapshot website and cost €10 each plus €5 p&p.

All proceeds go to Pieta House, a non-profit organisation, providing specialised treatment programmes for people who have suicidal ideation or who participate in self-harming.
