Poll: Will you watch the Paralympic games?

Team Ireland will be competing in the games but will you be watching them?

THE PARALYMPIC FLAME crosses into Northern Ireland today ahead of the games getting underway in London next week.

After the UK capital enjoyed a remarkable two weeks in August hosting the Olympic Games, London Mayor Boris Johnson declared yesterday that those games were “just the antipasto” to the Paralympic Games which get underway on Wednesday and run until 9 September.

Around two million people have snapped up tickets for the games that will be held at the various Olympic venues and Team Ireland has a 49-strong team that will compete across 10 sports and will be hopping to surpass its five medal haul in Beijing four years ago.

But today, we want to know: Will you watch the Paralympic Games?
