Poll: Did yesterday's water charges protest have an effect on you?

Are you less likely to pay now?

TENS OF THOUSANDS of people took to the streets of Dublin yesterday to protest the introduction of water charges.

Organisers had initially estimated that around 10,000 people would show up, but figures late yesterday put the turnout at at least eight times that.

But, will the show of strength for the anti-charges campaign, as well as the election of anti-charges candidate Paul Murphy in Dublin South West, affect whether you pay for your water or not?

We’re asking: Did yesterday’s water charges protest have an effect on you?

Poll Results:

I was always not paying (6022)
Yes - I'm now not going to pay (5395)
No (4067)
I don't know (2207)
Yes - I'm now going to pay (1103)
