Here they are, the best wave photos of the week

Wind and waves.

EACH AND EVERY one would be worthy of TheJournal.ie‘s ‘Pic of the Day’ slot. (We even cheated and had two on Monday).

So, we decided to round up a compilation of the most awesome sights captured on film on the coastlines of Ireland, England, Wales and France over the past seven days and nights.

With winds gusting at up to 120 km per hour, the waves being generated were mammoth. Behold the spectacular, and the scary:
