We had a good run: Clouds are coming, but there will still be a fair amount of dry weather

There will be some showers too. (Sorry).

THE LAST FEW days have been fairly lovely, the parks were full and some people hit the beach. Unfortunately it looks like there will be a shift today, bringing the usual showers.

Here’s how we are looking this morning:

Today will be mostly cloudy and humid. The good news is there will be a fair amount of dry weather, according to Met Eireann.

However, showers will impact on much of Munster today spreading across the country to the north, affecting mainly Connacht and west Ulster.

Temperatures will fall short of the last two days, reaching just 13 degrees in the northwest, but it could hit 20 degrees in the south.

This evening will be mainly dry, but showers, some heavy, could impact parts of Munster and Leinster.

Here’s hoping scenes like these aren’t the only ones we’ll see this summer:

Two days of sun and 19C can hardly be classed “a good run” in the weather!

After so many years in Ireland, if it is dry too many days on a row, I miss the rain a bit.

Only in Ireland could 3 days of fine weather be described as a “good run”.
