Today's weather advice? Have some suncream at the ready

It’s going to be a warm one.

IF YOU’RE PLANNING on being outside in the sunshine today, some suncream is probably a good idea.

Met Éireann are forecasting that, after starting cool this morning, it’s going to be a warm day in most places. Temperatures are likely to get up to between 18 to 21 degrees although it will feel cooler along the coasts.

The afternoon might see some spots of cloud with any drizzle that’s about more likely in the west of the country.

Before that though, the advice is to take care of yourself if you’re out for long periods.
