The warm weather is here all week - but so is rain

That weekend of summer was nice while it lasted.

THE WARM WEATHER will continue today, but there will also be cloud and showers.

Met Éireann says the day will start cloudy with “bursts” of rain before brighter, fresher weather in the west spreads across the country.

By early afternoon, there will be sunny spells and a few showers. Temperatures will hit 22 degrees in the east with light to moderate winds.

Tonight will see isolated showers and cloud with temperatures of between 13 and 15 degrees.

Tomorrow will be cloudy, with outbreaks of rain in the west which will break into showers, some of which will be heavy. Temperatures will stay similar to today.

That will be seen over the weekend, as the temperatures reach 21 or degrees with isolated showers.

Those conditions will continue into next week.
