Met Éireann Rainfall Radar

Indian summer alert: It's set to hit 23 degrees this week

Just when people were talking about “the evenings drawing in” too.

THE LATEST RAINFALL radar from Met Éireann shows barely a drop hitting the ground around the country this afternoon.

Temperatures will easily top the 20 degree mark for the rest of the afternoon, according to the weather service.

The east and south of the country will have the best of the weather, with highs of around 22 expected.

Similar conditions are likely tomorrow, with temperatures of up to 23 degrees forecast for the east.

However, rain will drift in over the west coast west late tomorrow morning, spreading across much of the region throughout the afternoon.

After that, it looks like we’ll be back to normal early September conditions by the weekend – so make the most of that paddling pool you spent €200 on back in July while the going is good!
