Perhaps leave the scarf at home? Temperatures could reach 10°C today

It’s hardly time to put the shorts on, but it’s one step closer to warm weather.

WE’VE BEEN USED to layering up before leaving the house with temperatures hovering just over zero degrees.

However, you might be able to leave the scarf and gloves at home as afternoon.

Temperatures are going to reach 7 to 9 degrees Celsius today, possibly even 10 degrees.

If you live in Munster, you’ll feel the cold the frost this morning, but elsewhere Met Eireann said it will be rather cloudy and misty, but mainly dry, with just a few isolated light showers.

There will be a few bright or short sunny spells throughout today.

Okay, so it’s hardly time to break out the sunscreen and put on the shorts, but it’s going in the right direction, right?
