Met Éireann

Break out the swimming togs, it'll hit 22 degrees again today

There might a few light showers in some places but it’s going to be very warm.

SUMMER HAS NOT abandoned us just yet, it seems.

Met Éireann is predicting a warm day today with a mixture of cloud and sunshine. There may be a few light showers in places but the most important part of the forecast is the highest temperature range of 18 to 22 degrees.

This evening, drizzle will move into the north and northwest coast and a humid night will follow.

Though temperatures are not likely to drop much tomorrow, there will be showery outbreaks of rain with a few heavy bursts in the southwest.

Met Éireann said the weekend will feel more Autumnal and much cooler and fresher than recently. We will get a bit of sun but it will be mixed with scattered and heavy showers.

So, enjoy the sun while it lasts everyone – Autumn is coming.
