Snow-ice warning issued for tonight

The warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford will remain in place until 3am tomorrow morning.

A SNOW-ICE WARNING has been issued for the southern part of the country this evening.

Met Éireann is warning that up to three centimetres of snow is expected fall in parts of Cork, Kerry and Waterford tonight.

The yellow weather alert was issued at 6pm and is valid from this evening until 3am tomorrow morning.
